Two South Florida mainstay theaters, The Parker and the Aventura Center for the Arts are bringing some of Broadway’s biggest names to Broward County this Winter. Stars of the Great White Way coming to Aventura include Tony winners like Rachel Bay Jones, renown for her powerful depiction of Evan’s mother Heidi in “Dear Evan Hansen,” Laura Benanti who won for her role as the stage daughter turned burlesque vixen Louise in “Gypsy” opposite Patti Lupone. As well as Matt Doyle, a recent Tony winner for playing the manic, showstopping husband-to-be Jamie in another Lupone-helmed Sondheim revival of “Company,” and celebrity SiriusXM host Julie James.

The newly-renovated and renamed Parker brings back Broadway personality Seth Rudetsky in his up-close-and-personal series of stories and songs from some of the brightest names of New York theater. Shows include the legendary Chita Rivera of “West Side Story” and “Kiss of the Spider-Woman,” Ramin Karimloo who currently stars as Nicky Arnstein in “Funny Girl,” and in March, Jessie Mueller from a litany of leading Broadway shows including “Waitress” and “Beautiful: The Carole King Story.” Schedule of shows and tickets below:
