Massachusetts indie favorites Speedy Ortiz released their sophomore record “Foil Deer” earlier this year and have been busy on the road ever since. Having played an album release show at Bowery Ballroom and a rained out set at Pier 84, Sadie Dupuis and co. are back in NYC to play two shows.
The first is a headlining show at St. Vitus (8/31) presented by Shiner and Noisey with opening support from fellow feminist Filipino rockers Aye Nako and another guest TBA.
The 21+ show is currently sold out.
Also, the band is playing Brooklyn Bowl (9/24), opening for a less likely act, Minneapolis hip-hop collective Doomtree.
Tickets for the also 21+ Brooklyn Bowl show available here.
