Brooklyn-based singer Mitski is performing two shows this weekend, the first at Palisades in Bushwick  (7/17) and Williamsburg’s Shea Stadium(7/19). Having opened recently for female-led rock groups like Speedy Ortiz and Screaming Females, the band brings along North Carolina natives Elvis Depressedly and two NYC bands eskimeaux and normal person opening the bill. Her latest record, “Bury Me at Makeout Creek” released in 2014 helped gain major traction, along with playing major festivals like SXSW and Northside.
