This month’s installment of the Steve Madden Live music series featured Swedish pop singer Tove Lo with opening act from NYC, VÉRITÉ. With her two massive singles, “Habits (Stay High)” and “Talking Body”, the singer announced the next track to be released as a single is “Timebomb” off her debut record “Queen of the Clouds”. Noted for her risqué live performances, the singer seemed relatively tame, clad in only a black two piece underneath a white fishnet dress and some new white Steve Madden shoes. Similarly, singer VÉRITÉ wore the same shoes on stage, with both her and Tove Lo showing similar sensibilities in footwear as they take to writing electronica/pop songs. Playing a somewhat abridged set, Tove Lo only performed about an hour’s worth of music with no encore to the dismay of many fans undeterred by the house lights and Destiny’s Child playing on the house stereo.
